ever notice how blue light is photography shorthand for technology? like it evokes ideas of brushed steel and flashing lights on a control panel or cell phones or something. yeah, seems a bit lazy. but seriously, look through any issue of wired..... find a photo of a hacker or web guru or guy who built his own programming language, and there's always a blue gelled flash in there somewhere.
it's interesting thinking about color associations in photography. i think it allows you to push buttons in people's heads with your pictures without them knowing how you're affecting them.
