it's weird, contrast is so key. if you gel all your lights cto.... then it just looks like an orange filter applied in photoshop. so what you have to do is leave one flash daylight balanced, or gel it blue or some other color. it just makes more visual sense when there's a contrasting element. not to say you can't make a compelling monochrome picture, it's just that i think a color contrast solution is way more interesting.
